This razor is made from 125CR1 high carbon steel. Heat treated and tempered to approx. 67 Rockwell.
The blade is a 1/2 hollow grind with an oversized profile. 11/8 at the heel, 10/8 middle and 11/8 at the toe. The spine has a gentle curve and rounded edges . I added round file jimping for added feel and aesthetics. The entire razor was sanded up to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a subtle hamon line. (a very time consuming process). The scales are made from stabilized and dyed Curly Maple with White G10 liners. The wedge is made from the same material as the scales. The handles are pinned with brass pinning rod and stainless steel washers which finish off the build. This razor, as well as all others will be shipped out shave ready. Included with this razor is a leather sheath / case to keep it safe and secure when not in use or when traveling.
