Meet The Maker
Hi folks, thanks for visiting my site. Most of us who are makers, have had our hands in some form of art over our lives. I have always had the need to create, from drawing to painting, metal work and making functional items that folks can use on a daily basis. I fell down the Straight Razor rabbit hole several years ago and after buying a few mass produced straight razors, I wanted to see if I could make my own, a personal challenge to myself actually. My early razors were functional but were far from the quality of what I am making today. My razors and knives are always evolving and getting better with every one I make. I am also making chef knives which are hand forged from high carbon steel. Yes another rabbit hole that I fell into a few years back. I will have chef knives posted soon. I feel fortunate that my creations have shipped to people in Canada, USA, Ecuador, England, Italy, France, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Singapore, Dubai and many other locations throughout the world. I am very humbled that my creations are in the hands of folks around the world and I thank each and everyone of you.
Thank you once again for your interest. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
All the best
Rob.

French Point Ladder Pattern Damascus Straight Razor
I use a variety of materials for my razors. This razor was made from a piece of Ladder Pattern Damascus which I acquire from a steel maker in the USA. The handles are made from dyed and stabilized Box Elder with white G10 liners. All quality products in every hand made razor.
Rain Drop Damascus Skinner
Along with hand made straight razors, I also make knives. With my knives I also use a variety of blade materials (01, D2, and Damascus) This is a hunting knife made for skinning. On the larger side but the customer is a larger gentleman. The blade is Rain Drop Damascus, handles are Cocobolo with white G10 spacer and liners and segmented with white G10 and carbon fiber. I also made the shealth for this knife.
Hand Forged Santoku Chef Knife
Over the past couple years I have been working hard to refine my black smithing skills. This is a long road to travel. I am now adding chef knives to my list of items that I am offering. These knives are Brute de Forge and I am making full and hidden tang knives. I will be updating my inventory as new knives are ready for sale.
