Hand made hand forged Nakiri Chef Knife. The Nakiri is a Japanese Chef Knife with western influences. The Nakiri is a vegetable knife which has very thin geometry from edge to spine. This knife has a cutting edge of 6 1/2 inches and a blade height of 2 inches across the length of the blade. The steel used is 1095 high carbon, it has been heat treated and tempered to approx. 61 on the Rockwell hardness scale. The handle on the knife is made up of Ebony and paired with stabilized and dyed Sycamore. Blue and White G10 spacers, White liners and Brass pins complete the build. This blade also comes with a hand made leather Saya (sheath).
